JP Brummer
JP believes in seeing the good in people, even those who have made mistakes. He is an aggressive advocate who stands up for his clients and knows how to get successful outcomes in any situation.
Experienced Criminal Defense Attoney
JP Brummer is an experienced criminal defense attorney based in Salt Lake City, Utah. JP represents clients all over the state who have been accused of criminal conduct. He has successfully defended individuals in all types of criminal matters, from minor infractions to those facing life sentences. He represents adult and juvenile clients from the pre-filing/investigation process through trial and sentencing.
Education
JP knew he wanted to be a trial attorney after winning a state mock trial competition in the 8th grade. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Comparative Literature, and then a law degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School. During law school, he competed on both trial advocacy and moot court teams and interned for two Salt Lake City federal judges.
Aggressive criminal defense representation
After graduating law school in 2015, JP opened Brummer Law and dedicated his practice to helping those accused of crimes. He has represented thousands of individuals in various criminal proceedings and trials. He has helped people accused of theft, fraud, sex crimes, violent crimes, drug crimes, etc. JP represents clients in complex domestic violence criminal cases and protective orders. He also has extensive experience representing clients before the Board of Pardons for parole violations and original hearings.

Gardner Lange
Gardner Lange is a U.S. immigration attorney who represents clients across the country. He has spent years working in the field and understands the difficulties immigrants face. He is a passionate advocate for his clients and knows how to best help them. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Immigration Attorney
Gardner has experience in defending clients from removal in immigration court, preparing and filing applications for immigration relief and other benefits with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and litigating in family courts to obtain custody orders that allow clients to pursue SIJS.
Education
Gardner studied law at the University of Texas, where he was an advanced student attorney in the Immigration Clinic. He graduated and passed the Texas Bar Exam in 2022. After graduation, he began his career at RAICES as the G. Rollie White Trust Fellow, assisting the Children’s Program and Litigation Department to expand access to federal courts for migrant children in Texas. Since the conclusion of his fellowship, Gardner has worked as a Staff Attorney with RAICES’ Children’s Program. He currently represents more than fifty clients who entered the United States as unaccompanied children, with a focus on pursuing asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).

Leslie Sixtos-Cruz
Leslie is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is client-focused and customer-service oriented. She is a fierce advocate for our clients and an integral part of our team.
Seasoned Paralegal
Leslie Sixtos-Cruz is an experienced paralegal and future lawyer. Leslie began her paralegal career in immigration law. She first gained experience in EOIR proceedings in Salt Lake City, then continued on to USCIS cases in Los Angeles. She now focuses on immigration and criminal law and knows how to help clients facing those difficult challenges.
Education
Leslie, the daughter of immigrants, was born and raised in Los Angeles before relocating to Salt Lake City. She received her associate's degree in criminal justice from Utah State University Eastern and her bachelor's degree in political science from Utah Valley University.
